Welcome to Jr
MARC the organization working to
bring the Model A Hobby to a new
and younger generation. With
close to 10,000 members, the
Model A Restorer’s Club is a
strong and vibrant collection of
enthusiasts who are united by
their common enjoyment of Model
A Fords. Created in 1953, MARC
has a long standing tradition of
providing a forum for the
discussion of and immersion in
the Model A hobby for people of
all walks of life and interest
levels.
Jr MARC works to
continue that tradition by
bringing the hobby to new
generations to help keep the
club and the hobby alive and
well for another 50 years
Through education programs and
assistance programs we strive to
get, and maintain, the interest
of younger generations in one of
the finest automobiles the world
has ever seen

MODEL A YOUTH RESTORATION
AWARD
How many MARC members know that
there are funds available to
youngsters owning and presently
restoring a Model A Ford? Well
there certainly is such a
program
The Model A Youth Restoration
award has been around since 1994
but is fairly new to the MARC
membership It is all about
helping Model A Youth restore
their Model A’s by receiving
money and gift certificates to
obtain parts to restore their
Model A Ford automobiles Since
1994, there have been 36 youth
receiving over $36,000 in funds
The amount of the funds given
each award year amounts to the
number of applicants divided
into the money in the fund
The award is funded entirely by
donations from Chapters of MAFCA
and Regions of MARC There are 11
chapters/regions pledging
donations of $250 each year We
also get donations in varying
amounts from other
chapters/regions and individuals
as well as from MARC and MAFCA
Some send in donations as
memorials to deceased members
For a Region to become a
financial sponsor the Region
will have to agree to donate
$250 00 each year to the
Restoration Award Or they can
make one $500 00, which will be
applied for two years You must
understand that this is not
binding should your Region be
unable to make a donation for a
reason such as being short of
funds You will be excused from
making the payment and to resume
when the situation changes So
far we have not had any
chapters/regions fail to meet
their obligation Please see
contact information at the end
if your chapter/region would
like to participate,
At the 2008 Joint Meet in
Dallas, two MARC youth, Frank
Vitetta of Pembroke Pines, FL
